When planning your Alaska fishing trip or Alaska adventure vacation, the details of the Alaska Vacation Packages need to be clearly understood. Talon Lodge and Spa is a Alaska luxury fishing and adventure resort that details everything you need to know about your Alaska adventure vacation.
Talon Lodge only hosts 600 guests per year. Our package dates are designed to have all of the guests, for a specific package date, arrive on the same day and depart on the same day. This provides an exclusive experience and ensures that there is no disruption in your Talon Lodge adventure.
From the moment that you arrive in Sitka, we will manage your itinerary and do everything possible to ensure that you have the very best experience possible. We'll greet you at the airport, allow time to tour Sitka, then transport you to our private island on one of our guest boats.

Due to high demand, we expect our season to fill up quickly. To ensure your spot at Talon Lodge, please book your reservations as soon as possible. A $1,000 deposit (per person) is required upon booking. The balance is due 120 days prior to your arrival at Talon Lodge. All Deposits and Moneys received are non-refundable if we cannot rebook your vacancy. If we are able to rebook the vacancy produced by a cancelation*, then a 10% fee will be assessed against all monies received for the specific cancelation.
*The term "Cancelation" refers to any reservation that is canceled due to any circumstance, including events that may or may not be under the control of the guest holding the reservation.
All package rates are per person based on double occupancy and include shared accommodations, lodging, gourmet meals and an experienced guide. Package rates also include the use of tackle, bait, lures, rain gear and boots (if needed).
Package rates do not include air travel to and from Sitka, Alaska; applicable taxes; fish processing; air freight charges for your fish, alcohol; Alaska non-resident (or resident) fishing license, personal items and gratuities. We will, however, be glad to arrange the fish processing for you.
Arrivals and Departures - For package arrivals, the transportation time to Talon Lodge, by boat, is between 3:30 PM and 4 PM. For departures, the boats leave the island between 8 AM and 9 AM. Talon Lodge reserves the right to modify or change any published package price or service without written notice. Package prices are subject to availability. All rates are per person based on double occupancy. Additional Package Activities: Our concierge service can arrange for tours of Sitka, float plane tours or fresh water fly-out fishing. Just let us know and we can make it happen!
Children and Age Restrictions: WE LOVE CHILDREN, but... the environment, accommodations, dock and boats are not appropriate for children under the age of 8-years old. Regardless of age, each guest, at Talon Lodge, is subject to the same package fee.

Travel Protection and Travel Insurance: Alaska Airlines provides low cost Trip Protection insurance that may suit your needs. More information can be found on their website.
We also recommend Travel Guard Insurance. Coverage includes emergency including medivac flights from the lodge to a hospital and liberal trip cancellation insurance. For more information, contact Travel Guard Insurance at 1-800-826-5248. Most travel insurance policies have to be purchased within 14 days of deposit payment. If you have paid your deposit beyond the 14-day window, trip insurance may still be available to you at a higher rate.
