For Salmon alone, our waters are rated the number one spot in the world for hooking and landing King Salmon and Silver Salmon.\r\n\r\nWhen it comes to\u00a0Halibut fishing<\/a>, we are fortunate to have outstanding Halibut fishing within minutes of where we are fishing for King Salmon and Silver Salmon. Often, we are fishing for all species at the same time, from the same location.\r\n\r\nThere is a good reason that Sport Fishing has been growing in popularity, especially in Alaska. Sport Fishing is exhilarating, a perfect way to enjoy the great outdoors while experiencing the breath-taking views surrounding Baranof Island and the Sitka Sound. Talon Lodge offers guided sport fishing adventures for salt water or fresh water fishing as well as fly fishing vacation packages.\r\n\r\nOur boats leave our docks around 7AM and we are fishing within 30-minutes from the time we leave the dock. Alaska Freshwater Fishing - An Adventure You'll Never Forget!<\/h1>\r\n
Our freshwater fishing trips feature native Alaska steelhead in the spring, native rainbows and cutthroats throughout the summer, and a variety of wild Alaska Salmon.\u00a0 The Sockeye Salmon run is in late June and early July.\u00a0 The Pink Salmon run is in mid to late July.\u00a0 The Silver Salmon run is in late August through late September.\u00a0 There are also a number of streams, within our boat access, that have Alaska King Salmon just waiting for the adventurous angler.<\/span><\/div>\r\n
